Prés Lasses Wines

Amour of Prés Lasses

Our first cellar was located on Rue de l’Amour in Autignac. When founding the estate, we chose as our logo a small 19th-century Amour, originally designed for textile printing.

In these cuvées, we seek balance where freshness and subtle delicacy prevail, with an immediacy that invites enjoying them within their first few years..

Amour of Prés Lasses White

This cuvée offers instant pleasure with its expressive bouquet, highlighting the distinctive varietal aromas of Roussanne, Rolle, and Grenache Blanc.

Amour of Prés Lasses Red

The idea behind this cuvée is to highlight the character of Cinsault, whose finesse often gets overshadowed by other grape varieties in the appellation. The blend typically consists of about two-thirds Cinsault and one-third Grenache.

Amour of Prés Lasses Rosé

We aim to offer a contemporary rosé that is fine and delicate, yet full of character, a challenge with every vintage. Mourvèdre and Grenache are our preferred varieties for achieving this balance.

Amourette Red

A blend dominated by generous Merlot with a distinctly southern character. Located on a hillside west of Autignac in a geologically complex area, at the crossroads of the Faugères, Saint-Chinian, Languedoc, and Côtes de Thongues appellations.

Amour Natural Sparkiling Rosé

Our pétillant naturel rosé expresses its southern character with finesse, thanks to its irresistible freshness and lightness. With its delicate salmon hue, subtle aromas of red berries, summer flowers, and citrus, and its fine, silky bubbles, it makes the perfect companion for aperitifs.

Chemin de Ronde & Castel Viel

These cuvées have been part of the Prés Lasses journey from the very beginning (at least for the reds). Our ambition is to craft great terroir-driven wines in Faugères, gastronomic wines with ageing potential that transcend both tradition and the modern trends of contemporary winemaking.

The whites, sharing these same goals, were introduced gradually after acquiring magnificent old vines in the late 2000s, along with various new plantings over the past 15 years.

Chemin de Ronde Red

This blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan creates a beautifully balanced wine, where each grape variety complements the others. It perfectly captures the character of Faugères’ schist soils: the bouquet is a harmonious mix of fruit, floral, and spice aromas, enriched by a distinctive mineral note that is the hallmark of schist terroir.

Chemin de Ronde White

A blend of the emblematic white varietals of the appellation: Grenache Blanc, Vermentino (Rolle), Clairette, and Roussanne. Its structure is defined by a touch of bitterness and a mineral and/or saline finish, which brings balance to the warm, sun-drenched character of this southern cuvée. The aromatic profile reveals notes of pear, apple, candied citrus, hints of honey…

Castel Viel Red

Crafted from our oldest Carignan and Grenache vines, this signature cuvée embodies the soul of the estate with a bold, expressive character. Built to age gracefully for at least 20 years, it makes a superb companion to fine cuts of meat. The wine undergoes a total of three years of ageing, including two years in oak barrels.

Castel Viel White

In the same spirit as Chemin de Ronde, this cuvée offers a richer, more powerful profile, shaped by extended ageing on lees in oak barrels. Its depth and complexity make it a perfect match for refined dishes, while its structure promises excellent ageing potential.
